Christmas pyjamas have become a bit of a festive tradition, with families everywhere posing under the tree in their matching sets. There are countless options on the high street, but a particular M&S pair, made popular by Dawn French, is back in stock – but might not be for long.

This checked pyjama set caught shoppers’ attention when the beloved comedian wore it in last year’s Marks and Spencer Christmas advert, selling out shortly after. If you missed your chance last year, it’s now back, and it’s perfect for matching Christmas morning photos as there are options for the whole family, reports Wales Online.

The set retails for £32 in women’s and men’s sizes, but is also available for £14 – £16 for children up to 16 years. There’s also a baby romper (£14) and a dog jumper (£14).

The women’s set comes in three lengths (short, regular and long) and sizes 6 to 22, although the smallest size has already sold out.

Designed in a warm, festive-inspired red check, the PJs have a classic button-up top and matching long bottoms, all made from super soft brushed cotton for extra warmth. They’re finished with piped trims for that neat, traditional look to make you feel a bit more put-together while digging into that box of Celebrations.

Shoppers are loving the PJ,s with one saying “They are very comfortable and soft.” They added: “They are a good fit, and it’s great to have long trousers that fit.”

Another five-star review said: “Soft fabric, great fit. I ordered in long length and they are fabulous.”

A review for the men’s set said: “I got this for my husband, and he loved it. The material is soft and feels really good.”

The sleepwear hasn’t received any poor reviews, though several shoppers have pointed out the pyjamas run a little big.

One said: “Lovely coloured Christmas pjs, a little on the large size so possibly size down if you’re on the smaller side.”

Another said: “Lovely soft cotton. A bit big on the fit.”

Although a little extra room will be just the ticket amid the overindulgences of the season, it might be worth sizing down or trying the pyjamas on in store before purchasing.
