The Melania Trump film has been in cinemas still last Friday and the new documentary has since garnered a big green Rotten Tomatoes splat.

At time of writing the movie has 6% positive reviews, compared to 99% from her fans on the Popcornmeter.

The $40 million Amazon MGM Studios movie will be headed to streaming on Prime Video “in a few months”, according to director Brett Ratner.

But that’s not all, as there’s a three-part TV series to complement the most controversial film of 2026 so far.

Speaking on the red carpet of the Melania premiere, Ratner revealed: “And then there’s three more episodes of stuff that’s not in the movie. So it’s a whole new three-part series that’s coming out.” The documentary film follows the First Lady in the 20 days leading up to the 2nd inauguration of President Donald Trump in behind-in-scenes footage.

Melania is out now in cinemas.
