It has inspired remakes and continues to influence popular culture with its timeless characters and themes.
Another person who watched the film on Rotten Tomatoes said: “My favorite movie of all time.
“Classic Western – good versus evil and helping the weak. Great character actors, an unbelievable ensemble and some terrific lines.”
One more film-fan penned: “Quite simply one of the best films ever made.
“I loved the action sequences as a child, but as an adult you really appreciate the dreadful plight of the Mexican villagers, the complex characters, the philosophical musings (I wonder if some of this comes from Seven Samurai) and even the love story.”
If you’re looking to watch this hit movie, it’s available on Amazon Prime.
