Fans of period dramas have just days left to watch a classic Jane Austen adaptation forming part of Netflix’s extensive historical drama library.
The romance film features five sisters as they deal with issues of marriage and morality, and it stars Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.
The film in question is the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, which is based on Jane Austen’s 1813 novel of the same name.
Actress Knightley plays Elizabeth Bennet, while Macfadyen plays Mr Darcy in the film, which was a box office hit and has been praised extensively by fans.
One viewer took to IMDb reviews to hail it an “emotional masterpiece”, but it will not be available on Netflix for much longer.

The star-studded film, which features Vera’s Brenda Blethyn as Mrs Bennet, will be leaving the streaming service on Saturday, June 20.
Unfortunately, it is not currently available to stream on any other subscription service. However, fans can buy the film digitally from Prime Video and Apple TV for £2.99.
Upon its initial release, the film grossed $121.6 million (£91 million) worldwide and it received positive reviews from critics, with praise for Knightley’s performance in particular.
Fans have taken to IMDb reviews to share their thoughts, with one saying: “Pride and Prejudice was the best movie I’ve seen in a very long time, if not the best I’ve ever seen.
“It captured the very essence of Jane Austen’s brilliant novel. In fact, I enjoyed the movie more than the book itself. Everything about the movie was perfect.

“This movie is a work of art, an emotional masterpiece. Watching this movie was actually a life-changing experience.”
Another fan called it “perfect”, adding: “Excellent direction, acting, script, character development, sets, photography, editing. I believe Jane Austen would have been well satisfied with this film version of her book.”
A third viewer commented: “Absolutely perfect 2-hour adaptation… I must give this movie 5 stars, 10 out of 10, 100% brilliance.
“The story itself, the characters, the actors, everything that was in the movie ‘bewitched me body and soul’. I have never been more moved by a movie, especially not one where I found it to be as hilarious as it was moving.”
The film features other huge names like Rosamund Pike, Judi Dench, Kelly Reilly and Tom Hollander.
