With winter fast approaching, there’s no better time to cosy up at home with a good film.

Knives Out tells the story of an investigation after renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday.

The inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously enlisted to investigate.

In 2022, Glass Onion was released and the third film in the franchise, Wake Up Dead Man, will be released on December 12 this year.

All three of writer-director Rian Johnson’s murder mysteries have received high praise so far with fans invested in the gripping storyline and Daniel Craig‘s performance as Detective Blanc.

The third installment of the film marks the end of the director’s Netflix deal but it’s uncertain as to whether more films could be released.

Johnson told Variety earlier this year: “I’d be thrilled to keep making these for the rest of my life.”
