If you’re looking for a film to watch this dreary winter, there’s one that’s unmissable. It’s a film which has gripped its audiences since its release in 2010.

Inception was a huge success at the box office and its impact on popular culture has solidified its status as a modern classic. The film follows the story of Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is a thief with the rare ability to enter people’s dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious.

The dream catcher’s skill has made him a hot commodity in the world of corporate espionage but has also cost him everything he loves. Cobb gets a chance at redemption when he is offered a seemingly impossible task: Plant an idea in someone’s mind. If he succeeds, it will be the perfect crime, but a dangerous enemy anticipates Cobb’s every move.

One fan on Rotten Tomatoes said: “I envy every single member of the new generation who will experience the thrills of watching this masterpiece for the very first time.”

Another fan penned: “Mind-blowing movie. While at times hard to grasp, Inception does an incredible job making you question what is real. 5/5.”

Directed by Christopher Nolan, the sci-fi film follows the world of dreams, featuring an A-list cast and prompting audiences to consider its thought-provoking themes.

The film, which also stars Irish actor Cillian Murphy, was inspired by Nolan’s own fascination with dreams and how the mind processes them. The director reportedly spent years writing the script.

A fan on IMDB said: “Few films leave you genuinely questioning whether you truly understood them quite like Inception does.

“The cast is outstanding, the story itself feels like a puzzle you can’t stop trying to solve, and the music subtly pulls you deeper without overpowering the experience.

“All of this has drawn me back to watch the movie at least five times over the years – and I know I’m not done yet.

“I’ve always admired Leonardo DiCaprio, and in this film, it feels like he poured everything he had into the role. All that’s left for me now is to keep hoping that someday, we’ll get a second part.”

You can watch Inception on Amazon Prime now.
