Baking legend Mary Berry dazzled fans and looked “positively regal” in her latest photoshoot as fans sported her wearing a gorgeous red blouse, which turned out to be a chic high street find.

Styled by Tess Wright, the esteemed former Great British Bake Off judge showcased a Karen Millen Organdie Woven Pussybow Blouse. The top, which initially retailed for £99, has seen a timely markdown just as paychecks come in, welcoming fashion-savvy enthusiasts to snap it up for £79.20.

Taking to Instagram to give admirers a tantalising glimpse of the shoot, her stylist enthused: “Our incredible Dame Mary Berry, regal as always”, inviting a wave of ecstatic responses. Fans didn’t hesitate to shower praise on the post, commenting with emphatic words like “Fabulous choice for a fabulous lady,” “Positively regal,” and “Love love the red.”

The distinguished blouse, celebrated for its comfortable fit, boasts whimsical balloon sleeves and a bold bow feature, perfectly encapsulating both the striking red hue and bow motifs that have swept through this year’s fashions, culminating in an ideal selection for holiday festivities.

Composed of a generous 44% linen mix, the fabric is described by Karen Millen as ‘high quality’ and versatile enough to complement any ensemble, be it midi skirts, smart trousers, or casual denim.

With the holiday season around the corner, it also pairs exceptionally well with glistening metallics or sparkling sequin skirts, reports the Mirror.

For her photoshoot with the Daily Mail, Mary Berry opted for a Red Waterfall Front Twill Maxi Skirt from Coast, which is reduced from £99 to £39.60 on Debenhams, paired with a Karen Millen blouse, creating a monochrome look that gave the illusion of a dress when seated. She completed the ensemble with metallic pointed court heels from Sole Bliss.

The Karen Millen blouse is currently available in sizes 6-16 and comes in a variety of colours including ivory, rose, navy and champagne. It’s set to be a popular choice for upcoming events, with other retailers such as Monsoon and Hawes and Curtis offering their own versions of the red pussybow blouse.

The Monsoon blouse, £70, is framed with voluminous sleeves and a larger-than-life pussybow neckline and designed in gauzy organza, offering a chic, statement accent to your look. The Hawes and Curtis red satin blouse, £49, is a sumptuous addition to any wardrobe
