Man considers divorce after finding ‘creepy’ photos on wife’s phone
A man’s trust in his wife of 11 years has been shaken after he stumbled upon something unsettling on her phone. He took to Reddit after the discovery and said despite having three “amazing” children and no serious issues, the find has left him questioning everything.
He said: “She’s a great mother and has been nothing but an amazing partner for all these years.” However, while browsing through photos of their son on her device, he found an album labelled with his own name, containing 9,631 pictures of himself asleep, taken from various angles over the years.
The man continued: “She never told me about this or sent me any of the photos. It is just me sleeping from numerous different angles. I am so creeped out and don’t know how to move forward.”
After confronting his wife, who was annoyed at him for using her phone and offered no explanation, he felt violated and unsure about continuing the relationship.
Seeking advice, he asked the Reddit community: “What should I do? This weird, right? Or am I overreacting for wanting a divorce after finding thousands of photos of myself sleeping on my wife’s phone?”
Reddit users chimed in with their perspectives, with one commenting: “Weird to some. Sweet to others. Seems she is totally in love with you, or it’s a crazy fetish, or both. Guess you should actually talk to her like married people do or at least should. Then make a decision.”
Another user chimed in: “I think this is how my dog must feel, because I have roughly the same number of pics of her sleeping.”
A third user weighed in: “Weird? Sure. But like ‘let’s talk about this’ kind of weird. Divorce feels extreme, especially if there are three kids in the picture.. When I say “in the picture” using that as a figure of speech… not the children literally in the pictures wife took.”
A third person commented: “It’s weird, but jumping to divorce over this is just as weird. This needs to be talked out.”
