This week Boots has brought down prices on over 160 products and one of the popular items is the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Tripeptide Serum, which has now been reduced from £31.99 to £10.

TV Beauty presenter Nadine Baggott recommended the L’Oreal anti-ageing serum as this year’s beauty go-to for glass skin. If you are not familiar with the term or the Korean beauty trend, it does not mean your skin is “fragile” as Nadine explained: “Glass skin is just skin that reflects light and you look gorgeous and it’s a big, big trend.” The Boots limited offer allows shoppers to save nearly £22 on this serum.

With line-smoothing peptides as the main active ingredient, it targets to improve all key ageing signs including wrinkles, firmness and uneven tone. The serum also leaves a silky and lightweight texture that makeup artists define it as “good foundation base”.

The dermatologist-approved ingredients – Collagen Peptide Fractions, Argilerine and Elasti Peptides – are what Nadine raved about and she added: “One works on micro-fractions for crepey skin and one acts as a resurfacing acid. The serum doesn’t dry out, it dries down with a sheen – makeup artists are obsessed with it, this beautiful finish.

In a try-on Instagram video, she shared: “Perfect for winter mornings when we all need a quick fix. And, of course, it sits beautifully under makeup. Instant results in under 60 seconds, long term results in just six weeks.”

Shoppers also expressed their love about the L’Oreal Revitalift Laser Tripeptide Serum, one commented: “After consistent use, my skin feels firmer, and there’s a noticeable improvement in its texture. Fine lines around my eyes and mouth seem less prominent, though deeper wrinkles might take more time to show significant improvement. My skin also looks more radiant and hydrated.”

However, some customers were let down by the pilling issue and a shopper mentioned: “This product causes serious pilling. I’ve used it alongside the moisturiser, and with a different moisturiser just to see if that would make a difference and both times I’ve rubbed my hands over my face and it’s caused little balls of the product to roll up on my face.”

Cosrx also offers a similar product, the 6 Peptide Collagen Serum Face Toner, is now on 18% off and is reduced from £20.03 to £18.72 on Amazon. It also looks after acne and hyperpigmentation. Skincare brand Medik8’s new Liquid Peptides Advanced MP has caused a huge buzz for delivering results in as little as 10 minute.

But many beauty fans found the L’Oreal serum “lovely to put on skin and stay smooth for hours”. The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Tripeptide Serum is now available for £10.
