LookFantastic shoppers snap up £23 Easter beauty box for less

Shoppers who’d rather skip the chocolate this Easter for something a little more luxurious can find plenty of special-edition beauty boxes and gift sets on offer. One of the standout options is this The Ritual of Karma Easter Gift Set.

It’s perfect for beauty buffs in desperate need of a little R&R, and contains three products that promise to ‘elevate your top-to-toe routine’. The set is on sale at LookFantastic for £22.90.

However, shoppers can get it for cheaper thanks to the money-saving platform TopCashback, which rewards new members with a £15 sign-up bonus when they spend £15 or more. This allows new members of TopCashback and new customers of LookFantastic to get it for £8.61, after cashback.

While new members of TopCashback and existing customers of LookFantastic can get it for £10.71, after cashback. Price calculated includes standard delivery from £3.95, TopCashback states.

The three-piece set includes a Shimmering Body Oil, made with jojoba, olive and safflower oils. There’s also a whipped Body Cream packed with nourishing ingredients like squalane, algae and aloe vera.

The last product is a Foaming Shower Gel that lathers up on the body, resulting in a ‘cushion-soft skin feel post-cleanse’. The products come in a pretty blue box with a bunny rabbit illustration on the front.

Elsewhere, Boots is selling an Easter Beauty Box for £55. It includes 14 products, ranging from skincare, make up and hair care, with eight full-sized items.

Additionally, Next has released a Luxury Beauty Easter Egg, priced at £35. It contains seven products from brands such as Dermalogica, Margaret Dabbs London and Floral Street.

As The Ritual of Karma Easter Gift Set is a new release, it doesn’t have any customer reviews, but prospective buyers can find feedback on the individual products. For example, the Karma Foaming Shower Gel can be bought separately at Boots (on offer for £9.26, normally £10.90), where one shopper wrote: “My favourite shower gel. Smells great, makes my skin soft.”

Another pleased buyer said: “It feels lovely on my skin and leaves it feeling soft and fresh.” Similarly, a third person added: “This is something else!! Totally took me by surprise. Smells like Heaven and lathers up like no other. Fab.”

Not all the reviews are glowing, with one consumer saying: “Nice, foamy and fresh feeling after use. However, there isn’t enough in the pressurised container to last a long time.”

Another had more luck, remarking: “Beautiful smell and foams up really good, perfect.”
