Mark Blegen, who currently serves as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Wisconsin’s Carroll University, has been appointed president of Linfield University in Oregon, effective July 1.

Denise Bruesewitz, a professor of environmental studies, has been named provost at Colby College in Maine.

Edward Feser, provost and executive vice president of Oregon State University, has been appointed president of Saint Louis University, effective July 1.

Holly Gruhlke, a professor of business at Dickinson State University in North Dakota, has been named vice president for academic affairs and provost.

Jay Hartzell, president of the University of Texas at Austin, has been named president of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, effective June 1.

Mayme Hostetter, president of the Relay Graduate School of Education in New York City, has been named president of Hamline University in Minnesota, effective July 1.

Mark Husbands, president and vice chancellor of Trinity Western University and Seminary in British Columbia, has been appointed president of Denver Seminary, in Colorado.

William Mullaney, president of the State University of New York Corning Community College, has been appointed president of Rockland Community College, also part of the SUNY system.

Brian Pappas, dean of the University of North Dakota School of Law, has been named chancellor of Indiana University South Bend, effective July 1.

Floyd L. Wormley Jr.,  interim provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at Texas Christian University, has been appointed to the position on a permanent basis.
