The Colombian superstar announced the LP, which arrives Aug. 7, during her latest tour stop

It’s official — Karol G is entering a new era. The Colombian superstar has announced her sixth studio LP, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too long to hear the new album as it is set for release on Aug. 7.

Karol G shared the news at her show at Rogers Stadium in Toronto during her latest tour stop on the Viajando Por El Mundo trek. “I’ve been working on a project for a couple of months,” Karol said in Spanish. “I’ve been locked in for months making new music. For months, I’ve been preparing a segment that will form part of this tour. I want to announce that on August 7, my new album will come out. It’s an album that I can’t wait to sing with all of you,” she added.

The Colombian superstar went on to unveil the official cover artwork for the first time, flashing the blue-tinted cover across the stadium’s screens. Of course, it matches the same shade that she’s been using for the past few months to hint at a new project. Since Karol announced her Tropitour in April, she’s leaned heavily into a blue aesthetic for her tour trailer and promo photos. “If you think you’ve already seen it all, remember that La Bichota always surprises you,” Karol said at the time on her social media.

Last week, the singer released new song “Matadora” during the opening night of her tour. An official tracklist for No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto has yet to be revealed, but the unapologetic track is likely to appear on the album.

It’s an exciting time for Karol, as she continues her global stadium tour. In a recent cover story for Elle, detailed her personal and artistic evolution. “The next version of me will be new to people,” she told the publication, “but it’s always been there, dormant.”
