Jelly Roll Thanks Post Malone for Bringing Him on Big Ass Stadium Tour
“I have never had more fun in my life,” singer writes to Posty
Jelly Roll posted a heartfelt note to Post Malone on social media Thursday, thanking the F-1 Trillion singer for bringing him along for his Big Ass Stadium Tour.
“Dear Austin, I say this on stage in some way every night, but man, being on this tour with you has been unreal,” Jelly Roll wrote on Instagram. “I have never had more fun in my life. The energy of the people is incredible. You can feel the love reverberate around the stadium every night. And that’s a testament to the spirit you embody and what you’ve done.”
Jelly Roll also posted a series of photos of the two artists onstage together; throughout the Big Ass Stadium Tour, the singers have frequently shared the stage to perform their F-1 Trillion collaboration “Losers.” Even before the tour, the pair would link up onstage at places like Coachella and Madison Square Garden.
“I am honored to be opening up for you every night, I’m honored to call you brother and blessed to watch you perform every night,” Jelly Roll continued. “The genuine gratitude you have for everything is infectious. The world is yours young man, keep kicking its ass for the rest of us. You are making all your fellow outcasts and losers proud Posty. Thank you the opportunity, I don’t take it for granted so I laugh, dance and sing from the soul every night.”
Jelly Roll’s tenure with the Big Ass Stadium Tour will continue until July 1, when the trek concludes at San Francisco’s Oracle Park. After that, the two artists will briefly part ways: Malone will embark on a European tour of music festivals in August, while Jelly Roll will remain in North America to play the North Dakota State Fair and other fests. The singers will then reunite on September 3 as the Big Ass Stadium Tour begins its leg of European stadiums in Paris.
