Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson to Headline CBS’ New Year’s Eve Show
CeCe Winans will be joining the lineup as a special guest for Nashville’s Big Bash
Nashville is ringing in 2026 with another country music welcome to the new year. On Monday, CBS announced that Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, and Bailey Zimmerman will be headlining its annual New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash this year.
Also joining the headlining acts, CeCe Winans will perform as a special guest, and the Fisk Jubilee Singers are also set to perform. The CBS TV slot will be a five-hour event at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville.
Fans at home will be able to watch the show on Dec. 31 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET/PT and 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. ET/PT. Nashville locals will be able to watch most of the performances for free in person, as the show will feature both pre-recorded and live performances.
CBS shared a trailer for the event, teasing, “We’re back for Nashville’s biggest night on New Year’s Eve.” The network is expected to announce more performers for the show, which will also air on Paramount+, in the near future.
Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard executive-produce New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash with Music City Inc. The show launched in 2022 by Deaton and Hilliard as counterpoint programming to New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC and other programs. The special is set to be directed by Sandra Restrepo.
Last year, Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, and Kane Brown headlined the event, with Urban and Rachel Smith hosting the show. Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Chris Stapleton, and Zach Top also performed last year.
