J.K Rowling who is the brain behind the popular Harry Potter fantasy series, has revealed her “best” film of the saga – and the answer may come as a surprise. Harry Potter, created by Ms Rowling, is a world-renowned fantasy story that chronicles the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, as he uncovers his magical roots and begins his education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

With the help of his loyal friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, Harry faces many tough challenges that test his courage and friendship. These trials lead him to a final, powerful showdown with the dark wizard Lord Voldemort. The story unfolds across seven novels, starting with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and concluding with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Throughout the series, themes such as friendship, identity, sacrifice, and the eternal battle between good and evil are deeply explored. The books were transformed into eight incredibly successful films, solidifying the franchise’s global impact.

Beyond the original series, the Wizarding World has grown to include spin-off movies like Fantastic Beasts, the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and immersive experiences such as theme parks and video games.

The writer claimed that ‘Hallows’ is her favourite film while hinting at the slim possibility that she could write about the boy wizard again.

She had told Reuters: “This is my favourite film of the lot. So it’s a very exciting evening but I’m looking forward to seeing it again. I’ve only seen it once.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, was the seventh film in the series and released in 2010. Directed by David Yates, it follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they leave the safety of Hogwarts and embark on a dangerous mission to destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes – objects containing fragments of his soul.

Part 1 sets the stage for the final confrontation in Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It’s a turning point in the series, shifting from school adventures to a full-blown war against evil.

One fan wrote on Google Reviews: “I think this movie is the best I’ve ever watched! I just finished the series a week ago, and they were so good !I wish they never ended.

“I haven’t watched the last two movies, but the books are really good! Harry Potter is my favourite series, and stay tuned for the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them!.”

Another user wrote: “I think this is the most best movie I have ever sseen. I just loved this movie so much. Even though there was only one book written, it was brilliantly divided into two amazing parts.

“Hats off Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint , Tom Felton and all those who have worked hard for this movie. This has come out really well. David Heyman, you really knew where to end the first part and it was like really going on a roller coaster. Thanks J.K. Rowling for giving us such a wonderful book. There was some twist and turns but I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
