Inside Next’s 2025 beauty Advent calendar

There’s no better way to count down to Christmas than with an Advent calendar, and luckily, they no longer have to be just for kids. With big brands and retailers releasing their own, grownups can get in on the fun too, and it’s looking particularly exciting for beauty enthusiasts. 

Next has just unveiled its own beauty Advent calendar, and it’s great if you’re looking to treat yourself or a loved one, or want to revamp your beauty or skincare routine without committing to full sizes. The 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar retails for £95, but according to Next, the value of the products inside would be over £385 if they were bought individually.

The Advent calendar has everything you need for the ultimate head-to-toe pampering, from skincare and haircare products to makeup treats, and even some accessories and a small candle. Inside, you can find a mix of popular and luxury brands like Rituals, Sanctuary and Philip Kingsley, and there are also some cult favourites, from Dr. Paw Paw to Nuxe.

If you’re a fan of long, luxurious showers, you’ll love the hair and body care products inside this Advent calendar. The red box’s drawers hide a shampoo and conditioner set, a body wash, scrub and lotion, and a relaxing gel for tired muscles.

Not forgetting the hands, the calendar also includes a hand cream and cuticle oil, and the highlight is a 50ml bottle of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil. The iconic French is one of my favourite products included in the calendar, as it’s one of my personal beauty must-haves. Not only is it versatile (it can be used on the face, body, and hair), but it also smells divine! 

The calendar also has a decent range of skincare, too. When it comes to building a routine, it can be a bit of trial and error, and it’s great to have the chance to try some products without committing to full sizes. The calendar has mini versions of face and eye creams, which are great for travelling, but it also includes some nourishing lip products. And if you’ve always wanted to try some serums but didn’t know where to start, the calendar has two – and one of them is normally worth £40.

There are also some satin scrunchies to pull your hair back while you put on your skincare, a sleep mask, and a small candle for an extra relaxing touch.

I particularly love that many of the goodies inside can be used together, and by day 25, you’ll have everything you need to give yourself a Christmas makeover.
