Incubus’ ‘Morning View’ Anniversary Tour at Madison Square Garden
Introducing Nicole Row
Einziger and Nicole Row, the band’s new bassist. She replaced Ben Kenney on tour, who left the band in 2023 due to illness, and became an official member earlier this year. “We had a very funny introduction to each other,” Einziger recalls. “Ben, who was with us for over 20 years, chose to do his own thing, and we fully support him. He was like, ‘I made a list of people that I think would be good.’ And he was actually the one who suggested Nicole. I was like, ‘Awesome, can you connect me with her?’ And he was like, ‘Oh, I don’t know her. I just think she’s awesome.’” [Laughs.] “So I literally cold DM’d her. Our conversation was, ‘Yo, Nicole.’ And she wrote like, ‘Yo, what’s good?’ Nothing about it was not effortless. It all just fits.”
