Thousands of shoppers across the UK are set to benefit from an exclusive new discount launched by popular home furnishing retailer IKEA. The offer will help eligible customers save on a wide range of products, from larger furniture pieces to storage solutions and everyday essentials.

The discount is now live and available to verified members of Discounts for Teachers and Health Service Discounts nationwide. Eligible education and healthcare workers will receive 6% off their purchases in-store, giving them added flexibility when shopping.

Previously, members could access a 4% saving online, but the new in-store offer gives eligible professionals even greater savings. All eligible members have to do is head to their nearest shop, fill their basket and then scan their bar code at checkout to activate their savings.

Chief Revenue Officer at Discounts for Teachers and Health Service Discounts, Jen Haslam, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to bring this IKEA discount to our members. Teachers and healthcare workers play a vital role in society, and it’s important that their dedication is recognised in tangible ways.

“Extending the savings to in-store purchases, alongside online, means members have more choice and flexibility to benefit from everyday savings.”
