Princess Kate often waltzes into the party season oozing sheer glamour and elegance. The 43-year-old hand picks every fine detail from the show-stopping ball gowns she wears to the products she uses on her face.

Being a member of the monarchy means it comes with countless invitations to the world’s most coveted soirées. Naturally, members of the Royal Family—from Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburg to Queen Camilla, have drawn inspiration from A-listers.

From festive outings to red-carpet events, Kate always looks perfect and rarely puts a foot wrong. Despite having to adhere to protocol Her Royal Highness knows how to mix tradition with current trends.

Express.co.uk caught up with makeup artist Stacey Gilbert who recommended the best beauty tips and products to use this winter. From bold brows to statement lips, she has the answer to your Christmas look.

Stacey told us that by creating a “definition” to your brows sets the perfect tone to “accentuate the eyes”. She claimed: “Well-defined brows can help to draw attention to the eyes and entirely play a role of shaping the face.

“Princess Kate always looks fresh and awake thanks to the noticeable arch and slightly brushed-up look which makes them thicker.”

The NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil has a double-ended micro brow pencil and spoolie so you can not only fill but also shape them.

One customer said: “The best eyebrow pencil I have used. I have reordered this items several times now. Really recommend.”

While another agreed and wrote: “Can’t count how many times I repurchase this – I have fine and thinning eyebrows and this provides the fine control needed to create hair like strokes making brows looks instantly fuller in a natural.”

“Brilliant value for money and just as good as the other more premium brands!” added another person.

“This season it is all about a statement lip, pair your favourite colour with a matching liner and let the tones do the talking,” makeup artist Stacey said.

However, it is known that Princess Kate typically avoids bold lips and instead prefers natural shades.

She has been spotted countless times wearing the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Rose Shimmer which you can buy for just £21 at Selfridges. It comes in four different colours boasting both nude and rose tones.

Princess Kate is known to use a few products to achieve a healthy glow, and it has been reported that she is a fan of fake tanning.

Having a brighter appearance can give off a natural spark that your makeup can thrive off. Stacey said: “It is essential when it comes to a smokey eye, that if you are tanned, add a thin layer of a more brassy and bronzed as it can make your eyes pop and upgrade the look.”

The Princess allegedly uses the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact which is available at Boots for £42 if you click here.

One customer shared: “Bought as a stocking filler for my daughter she loves Bobby Brown makeup so she was very pleased with it.” Meanwhile, another added: “Been using this for years after receiving one as a gift. Gives a lovely bronze glow all year round. I use the bronze colour and have fair to medium skin that tans in summer.”
