She’s seen filling a zip-lock bag with warm tap water—pointedly avoiding boiling water—and gently glides it over her car’s icy screen. Heradvice is clear, as she says: “Defrost your car quickly on those frosty mornings with this simple hack. No need for boiling water! It works using warm tap water.”

She cautions viewers to steer clear of excessively hot water, which could lead to a shattered windscreen. Echoing her sentiments, a commenter on her post advised: “Make sure the water is not too hot, as the shock could break your windows.”
