Grammy-winning R&B singer D’Angelo has died, his family has announced.
The 51-year-old, known for hits including Lady and Untitled (How Does It Feel), died after a “prolonged and courageous battle with cancer,” according to his family.
In a statement, they called him a “shining star of our family and has dimmed his light for us in this life”.
