Duncan Ivison, deputy vice chancellor (research) at the University of Sydney, in Australia, has been named president and vice chancellor of the University of Manchester, in Britain.

Chris Patritto, former district administrator at the Hurley School District, in Michigan, has been appointed as president of Gogebic Community College, also in Michigan.

Jerry Thomas, vice president for academic affairs at National Park College, in Arkansas, has been selected as chancellor of Southern Arkansas University Tech.

Robert W. Wagner, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Utah State University, has been chosen as president of Idaho State University.

Neil Wolff, executive vice president at Southern Oregon University, has been selected as president of New Mexico Highlands University.
