Jason Abreu, vice president of student affairs at Tarrant County College’s Trinity River Campus in Fort Worth, Tex., has been appointed president of Atlantic Cape Community College in New Jersey, effective July 1.

Christoper Augostini, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Emory University, has been elected president of the institution, effective Sept. 1.

Michael Balboni, president and managing director of Redland Strategies, has been named president of Adelphi University, effective June 1.

Susan Ballabina, executive vice chancellor of the Texas A&M University system, has been officially confirmed as TAMU system president, a position she assumed May 11.

Natalie Braswell, general counsel to Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, has been appointed interim chancellor of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system, effective fall 2026.

Mung Chiang, president of Purdue University, has been appointed president of Northwestern University, effective July 1.

Matthew Cooper, former general counsel at the University of Alaska, has been appointed president of the UA system, effective Aug. 3.

Mitch Daniels, president emeritus of Purdue University and chair of the board of the Purdue Research Foundation, has been named Purdue’s interim president, effective July 1.

Dustin Eicke, vice president of performance and planning and accreditation liaison officer at Laramie County Community College, has been appointed president of Trinidad State College, part of the Colorado Community College System, effective June 15.

Eileen Glover, department chair for allied health programs at River Valley Community College in New Hampshire, has been appointed the institution’s interim president, effective July 10.

Kevin Guskiewicz, president of Michigan State University, was named president of Clemson University, starting date to be decided.

Ken Knelly, acting president of Clinton Community College, part of the State University of New York system, has been named the college’s permanent president.

Donald Leo, executive vice president and provost of Ohio University, has been named president of the University of Alabama at Huntsville, effective June 1.

David Marchick, dean of the Kogod School of Business at American University, has been appointed the university’s interim president, effective July 1.

Jen Mishory, who served as deputy under secretary in the U.S. Department of Education and in the White House as First Lady Jill Biden’s senior adviser on workforce and education, was selected as president of the Institute for College Access & Success, beginning May 18.

Eddie Phillips, provost and senior vice president of National Louis University, has been named the institution’s president, effective Aug. 1.

Peter Rodriguez, dean of Rice University’s School of Business, has been appointed president of Wake Forest University, effective July 1.

Lisa Thompson, who most recently served as Cornelius Vanderbilt Professor of Black Homiletics & Liturgics at Vanderbilt University, has been appointed president of the Union Theological Seminary, effective July 1.

Abigail Van Vlerah, vice president for student success and institutional strategy at Manchester University in Indiana, has been named president of Notre Dame of Maryland University, effective July 6.
