The CDC said almost 50 people were sickened with E.coli in 10 states after reporting they ate at McDonald’s. One person in Colorado died. McDonald’s says it believes slivered onions used in the Quarter Pounder and linked to a single supplier may be at fault. It says it is temporarily removing the Quarter Pounder in the affected areas. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz reports.
