Debenhams slippers ‘better than’ high-end brand have 71% off

The coldblast sweeping across the UK has seen many people staying indoors and keeping cosy with heated throws and hot beverages. Online shoppers keeping an eye on the January sales have spotted a pair of sheepskin slippers many have called “better than UGGs”.

Available at Debenhams, the EverAu Ibis Slippers are crafted with A-grade Australian merino sheepskin and have a whopping 71% off, slashing the price from £139 to £39.99. They come in seven colours including timeless brown, chocolate and grey; but you can also get lighter hues such as pink and lilac.

The cosy mini boots are designed as slip-ons, with a central seam and a snuggly collar around the ankle to keep your feet from the cold while trapping heat inside. 

The premium sheepskin insole, which is best known for its breathability and warmth, prevents any odour from developing. The odour-resistant wool fibres can absorb large quantities of water vapour, helping keep your skin dry and prevent the build-up of sweat, bacteria and unpleasant smells.

With a saving of £100, the slippes also boast a 4.4 star rating. One customer was happy with the craftsmanship and shared: “Just love my new slippers they are so comfy and toasted toes with fur to the tips. A nice, thick sole finishes them off. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.”

“Good value and very cosy. Just what is needed especially in the cold mornings,” another said and a third added: “Lovely slippers and they are very comfortable. A bit on the tight side when first putting them on. But by past experience I know with wear they will get easier.”

Some shoppers mentioned that sizing is slightly small and the foot opening is “tight”. One left a comment saying: “Lovely Slippers but I couldn’t get them on… I was worried if it did eventually go on, I’d be stuck and not able to get it off without cutting it. Such a shame as looked really pretty and cosy.”

But the EverAu Ibis Slippers are said to be “worth the price” by a fan, who wrote: “The slippers are very comfy and cosy. I have been using UGG’s slippers for years, but honestly, these slippers are way better than UGG’s ones.”

New Look’s Suedette Faux Fur Trim Slipper Boots are also in a similar design with the navy option reduced from £25.99 to £13.
