Clothes come out of dryer fluffier if one thing is put into drum
Clothes could come out fluffier and carry a “subtle, pleasant scent” if you add one surprising item to your dryer, it’s been suggested. And that’s not all — it could be kinder to your wallet by reducing the need to buy a common laundry staple, and the reduced waste means it’s better for the environment, too.
Kate Franke, a writer and editorial assistant for Hearst Lifestyle Group, likes the hack so much she’s been using it to cut costs since 2018, praising it for making her clothing and bedding “smell amazing”. She writes for Good Housekeeping: “There’s one laundry hack I’ve been using to save money since 2018, when I moved out of my parents’ house to attend college. In addition to saving me a few bucks a month (hey, every penny counts!), this laundry trick also makes my clothing and bedding smell amazing when everything comes out of the dryer.”
