Cleaning with ‘organized chaos’ method will make mess more manageable
The 10 weekly tasks are: wiping out the fridge, wiping out the microwave, tidying the pantry, mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the sink drains, dusting the furniture, washing the bedding, tidying the car and cleaning the pets’ bowls. Those jobs provided a deeper clean that doesn’t need to be done everyday.
For the monthly jobs, the 6/10 List has you scrubbing the showers, deep cleaning the appliances, cleaning out the garage and vacuuming the vehicles.
Then there’s the quarterly jobs, which are wiping down the baseboards and doors, cleaning fans and lights, cleaning windows, cleaning furniture, changing the air filters and wiping down the cabinets. Those only need to be done four times a year, unless serious messes occur.
“After following The 6/10 List for a week or so, you’ll find that your home becomes much more manageable and you’ll be able to quickly complete the list,” Audrey said.
