Beauty enthusiasts seeking faster makeup application can look to Charlotte Tilbury’s latest makeup range, which the brand claims is crafted to deliver ‘speedy, easy’ eye looks that ‘suit every age’. The new Exagger-Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Sticks, retailing at £27 each, have been formulated to provide enduring colour in mere swipes, with a crease-resistant and waterproof composition meant to remain intact for up to 24 hours.

In an online statement, Charlotte Tilbury said: “Darlings, I have bottled 30 years of artistry into 30 seconds to give you speedy, easy, bigger, brighter eyes! Crease-proof, waterproof and fade-proof, the self-priming, dream-glide formula, with high-impact Colour-Boosting Tech, plays then stays up to 24 hours a day!

“They’re mistake-proof, you can’t go wrong! Just swipe on to create a speedy, easy eyeshadow look that suits every age, eye colour and every lid shape. The easy-sculpt domed tip effortlessly hugs the curves of your eyes for a flawless application, fast!”

The self-priming eyeshadow utilises what the brand describes as ‘colour-boosting tech’ and comes in 12 shades spanning two finishes. Matte Blur shades are crafted to sculpt and define the eyes, while Satin Glow shades are designed to brighten and accentuate.

The formula is promoted as fade-resistant, smudge-resistant, transfer-resistant and humidity-resistant, making it ideal for lengthy days, holidays and warmer weather. According to brand testing, 93% of users agreed the eyeshadow did not crease, while 98% reported it felt comfortable and non-drying to wear.

As an alternative, shoppers may wish to consider the No7 Pro Artist Bronze and Glow Face and Eye Multi-Stick for £13.45 from Boots. The item can be used on both the face and eyes, making it a two-in-one bargain, and is described as lightweight and non-sticky.

LookFantastic also stocks the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick at a slightly higher price point of £29.50, reports the Mirror. This offering is a cream-based eyeshadow stick featuring shimmering pigments throughout.

Returning to the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow sticks, which have earned an impressive 4.8 out of five-star rating online. One customer said: “Easy to use and feels light on the eyes. Soft colour that takes seconds to apply. It stayed on all day.”

Another added: “That product was bought as a present for my mother and she really likes it. In fact, it’s her new favourite.”

A third commented: “Easy stay-proof eyeshadow. Quick and easy to apply, great coverage, I wish I had purchased more on the early release!” A small number of others were less convinced, with one remarking: “I wore this on the corner of my eyes and it stayed on pretty well.

“Pigmentation was really good and it didn’t budge throughout the day. The packaging is cute but a bit confusing as I thought the bottom was the top. It’s very lightweight. Can’t wait to try different looks with this.”

Another user commented: “It is so easy to put in and use! I love the colour and how quickly you can get ready. I use this for my quick go makeup! It doesn’t create a crease and blends well with other colours when you blend! I would say it just takes some getting used to with applying this way compared to brushes.”
