Charlotte Tilbury launches new travel beauty bag that saves £115

With the summer season here, having essentials on holidays is crucial – and now Charlotte Tilbury has just the solution for that. The Charlotte’s Mini Glow + Go Travel Beauty Bag is now priced at £110, down from £225, saving buyers £115 on makeup and skincare.

Inside the bag are 10 different mini products that are said to be ‘perfect for summer escapes’. First up is Charlotte’s Magic Hydration Revival Cleanser for removing makeup, then a Glow Toner that is said to offer natural radiance and refined pores.

There’s a Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and a Dark Spot Correcting Radiance Recovery Serum that is said to help fade the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation. There’s also Charlotte’s Magic Cream that can apparently reverse 10 visible signs of ageing, along with Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir.

Not only is there skincare but also makeup in the bag, such as the Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! Mascara, a Mini Filmstar Bronze and Glow, a Mini Glossy Lip Duo – Pillow Talk lip liner and Refresh Rose lip gloss – and to set it all together, the AIRbrush Flawless Setting Spray. All of this is packaged nicely in a limited-edition pink makeup bag.

A cheaper alternative is the Boots Mini Holiday Beauty Bag for £35, which is worth £139.81. This one comes with nine products, two of which are full size. These include a Fenty Beauty Glass Bomb Stix, Philip Kingsley Swimcap Water-Resistant Mask and then minis from brands such as Sol De Janeiro and Bobbi Brown.

M&S has its Summer Beauty Bag for £40, too. It includes essentials from Color Wow, Estée Lauder and Clinique.

The Mini Glow + Go Travel Beauty Bag doesn’t have any reviews directly on Charlotte Tilbury’s website, but buyers have left their thoughts on the products individually. For example, with the setting spray, one five-star review said: “The best setting spray I have ever used, makeup doesn’t budge.”

Another added about the magic cream: “The most amazing magic cream and serum. The difference in my skin is clearly visible. I would highly recommend Charlotte Tilbury skincare.”

A third person wrote about the mascara, saying: “Fantastic mascara, keeps lashes in place all day. It really separates and lifts the lash better than any other mascaras I’ve used.”

Some did remove stars, however. For example, this person said: “I was disappointed in it. I didn’t find that it was any different than other mascaras I have used.”

Another wrote: “Not as impressive as what it used to be, maybe have the ingredients changed as I am finding it to come out very clumpy.”
