“I would trade anything just to be able to be with you again,” the rapper wrote in his tribute to Pasionaye Nicole Nguyen

Tyga is continuing to mourn his late mother about a month after she died at 53 years old. On Friday, Tyga shared an emotional Instagram post honoring Pasionaye Nicole Nguyen, calling her the “best and most supportive person in my life.” No cause of death was given.

“I been trying to understand and process why God takes the most meaningful and most beautifulest people away from us,” Tyga wrote in his post. “But I know I’ll never get an answer that will fill the emptiness in my heart. Can’t imagine life without you by my side.”

Tyga shared a collection of throwback photos and videos of him and his mom through the years, including when Tyga was a baby. “You always made things better when I felt at my lowest and worst. I would trade anything just to be able to be with you again,” he wrote. “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. and I can’t wait for the day until we’re together again. I’ll see you soon and save me a spot right next to you in paradise.”

Tyga ended the note by writing: “I Love you forever mom and I’ll do my best to celebrate you with every moment that I have left…You took one of your best angels back GOD. I hope you know that.”

In his post, the rapper also embedded a clip of his mother listening to a voicemail from her that Tyga included on his 2012 song “Black Crowns” from Careless World: Rise of the Last King. “I’m just so proud, I just wanna shed a tear right now. OK Mommy loves you, and you the best thing ever,” she says in the video.
