Event takes place Nov. 22 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York

Rolling Stone’s 2024 Musicians on Musicians live event is going bigger than ever, bringing together four major talents for intimate conversations and unique performances at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater. Today, we announce the stars of this year’s incredible lineup: New York hip-hop icon Busta Rhymes will join rising Memphis star GloRilla in one pairing, while former Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard will meet Florida rap sensation Doechii in another duo. Longtime Rolling Stone contributor Touré will moderate both conversations at the Nov. 22 event, and Late Show With Stephen Colbert bandleader Louis Cato will serve as the night’s musical director.

This event is a core part of Rolling Stone’s annual Musicians on Musicians franchise, which brings together stars from across genres and generations to talk about music, life, and more. This year’s installment featured cover stars Bruce Springsteen and Zach Bryan, with more conversations starring Tyla and Blackpink’s Lisa; superproducers Timbaland and Metro Boomin; Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo and Reneé Rapp; Christina Aguilera and Raye; Natalia Lafourcade and Leon Bridges; and Coco Jones and Ayra Starr.

Rolling Stone launched Musicians on Musicians in 2019 with Elton John and Lana Del Rey. Since then, we’ve featured unforgettable pairings including Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Alanis Morissette, Lorde and David Byrne, Pharrell and BTS’ RM, and Snoop Dogg and Latto, among many others. Our first-ever live Musicians on Musicians event took place in 2023, with Tierra Whack and Lil Yachty meeting up to trade controversial observations about the state of hip-hop and other subjects, followed by a revealing conversation and captivating performance from Jon Batiste and Gucci Mane.
