Boots slash L’Oreal ‘age-reversing’ SPF to £10 for limited time
Shoppers looking for a top-rated sunscreen are urged to rush to grab a L’Oreal SPF from Boots for £10. The Revitalift Clinical SPF50+ Invisible UV Fluid works to protect, prevent and improve ageing signs.
Originally priced at £19.99, the sun protection cream is now reduced to £10 and Advantage Card members can collect 30 points along with this purchase. Other than the high UV protection, the 50ml bottle contains vitamin C to prevent photo-ageing and stress induced by infrared and pollution.
The powerful blend also works to improve skin texture and radiance and many beauty fans have added it to their daily routine.
Among the 390 five-star reviewers, one said: “This has been my favour SPF for over six months and I must say, it’s simply gorgeous, it doesn’t sting or leave a white cast, visibly reducing my dark spots..i will continue purchasing.”
Another was happy she got the L’Oreal Invisible Fluid while it was on offer and shared: “This doesn’t break me out and leaves my skin so soft applies great under make up. Not greasy at all. Does not feel like it traps the sweat under skin.”
As well as vitamin C, the product also contains vitamin E to boost antioxidant efficacy while glycerin and hyaluronic acid help replenish moisture. Shoppers can wear the SPF under makeup or even when on the beach as it has a high resistance to water and friction.
Finding a sunscreen that fits your skin type can be tricky but L’Oreal’s “netlock technology” gives an invisible finish thanks to the fast-absorbing texture without white residue.
Although one shopper didn’t find it suitable for oily skin, and said: “It is very oily and def not made for oily skin. It made my make up smudge so much and just made my face look horrible, like i didnt know how to apply foundation.”
A second penned: “Has pure alcohol at the top of ingredient list ,very irritating, stay away if you have sensitive skin.”
But many said it works well for them and a woman even ditched her makup primer for the L’Oreal SPF, saying: “Provides amazing subtle glow and works amazingly under the makeup, no need for a primer. It’s worth it.”
Shoppers can buy the L’Oreal Revitalift Clinical SPF50+ Invisible UV Fluid for £10 on the Boots website today while stock lasts.
Alternatively, Heliocare’s 360 Gel Oil-Free SPF 50, £24.80, is great for people who prefer a “dry touch texture”. It’s great for combination and oily skin types as the gel formula reduces shine caused by humid climates.
If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this quick-drying, non-greasy, sun protection mist from Solarsport makes it perfect for outdoor sporting activities, including running, cycling, tennis, golf, football, cricket and hiking.
For those who suffer from sunburn or redness after a long day out, Nature’s Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel is ideal for calming the skin. If you keep it in the fridge, you can apply a thin layer on the face or body for an instant cooling effect. It’s available on Amazon for £13.30 if you buy a 300ml tub.
