Boden reduces ‘festive and flattering’ jumper to £39

From chic cardigans to stylish jumpers, a pullover can enhance any ensemble. Fashion retailer Boden has plenty of options, but one in particular has been described by shoppers as being “made for parties.” The tulle-trimmed jumper comes in a festive, emerald shade, ideal for the season.

Not only that, but it’s also enjoying a significant reduction right now. The jumper has been slashed to £39.20, down from £98, a 60% discount. While the Glade Green colour is perfect for parties, this jumper is also available in black, albeit at a different discounted price of £58.80.

The jumper’s length means it finishes mid-hip, making it perfect over a skirt, pair of jeans, or fashionable velvet trousers. The real conversation starter, however, is the ruffled tulle neckline. That said, it requires dry cleaning and is only available in a slim fit. 

Boden customers have praised their jumper as being ideal for festive celebrations, with one person commenting: “Great for the coming festive season. Fits well and looks smart and fun.”

Another individual said: “I’m a tall size 16. This jumper fits perfectly. I bought it in the summer sale to wear next Christmas.”

Another customer remarked: “From the size guide, I bought a medium, and it’s perfect. I love the fit and the colour (green). The frill just lifts it and makes it special.”

A third jumper purchaser noted: “The sweater is the perfect size for me. Although I am saving it to wear on a river cruise, where they suggest ‘smart casual’ for the evening and, this will be perfect. I love it!”

However, one customer had observations about the fit, commenting: “The sweater is fairly mid, I think. I wish the tulle around the neckline extended further for larger sizes. I have larger boobs, and the tulle is far above them. I wish it came down about two or three inches further down so it didn’t look quite so separate from the boobs.”

For fashion-savvy shoppers who appreciate a statement collar, Jigsaw offers the Merino Ruffle V Neck Jumper in Burgundy, priced at £69 at the time of writing, a 30% discount from £99. It has a relaxed fit and is made from lightweight pure merino wool. The neckline has a hand-applied ruffle.

M&S also offers the SOSANDAR Embellished Jumper for £49. This black jumper features a gold sequinned bow across its front and is finished with a neat crew neckline, reports the Manchester Evening News.
