Blackpink’s Jisoo Finds the Romance on Solo Single ‘Click’

Blackpink singer Jisoo shared a new solo single, “Click,” alongside a music video for the track. The cinematic clip was directed by Joseph Kahn and sees Jisoo embodying the last sentient cyborg in a theme park forgotten by time. 

The reflective pop single reflects on “the rare moment when two people from completely different worlds find one another and everything simply falls into place,” according a press release.

“Click” kicks off a new solo chapter for Jisoo. The singer has been teasing the arrival of her debut full-length album for several months. In a May interview with V Magazine, she said that she was “working on showing a wider range of music.” More recently, during an appearance on Hot Ones, she said she wanted to “further explore my true colors.”

“I made the effort to show a variety of charms,” she said. “Whether it’s musical styles that I really liked or putting in different styles I liked listening [to], it was to add a bit of color to the album.”

Last year, Jisoo released “Eyes Closed,” a collaboration with Zayn. It marked Jisoo’s first release since her 2025 EP, Amortage, which featured “Earthquake,” “Hugs & Kisses,” and “Your Love.” She dropped her debut EP, Me, in 2023.

Blackpink recently reunited for a new mini album, Deadline, and the Deadline World Tour, which wrapped in Hong Kong in July. Deadline, released in February, features five tracks, including the group’s comeback single “Jump.”

Jisoo’s single comes on the heels of her bandmade Lisa’s new track, “SaWaDiKa.” In July, Blackpink’s Jennie unveiled “Less Than a Lover,” clearly kicking off the group’s solo era.
