Beginning on Jan. 31, the Blackpink singer will roll out the project over two weeks with plans to share two album covers, three concept posters, the track list, and details about a special release event

Blackpink’s Jisoo is gearing up to premiere “a montage of love,” or Amortage, her debut solo project. For the occasion, the singer has organized a release plan that spans two weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day.

The Amortage roll out will begin on Friday, Jan. 31 with the arrival of the album title poster. Jisoo will follow the poster up with two album covers, one premiered on Saturday and the other on Sunday. At the start of the following week, Amortage will be available for pre-order. From there, a four-day stretch of sharing will reveal the title poster and track list as well as three consecutive concept posters.

After a three-day break, Jisoo will release a track snippet followed up by a teaser trailer and poster for an accompanying music video. The grand event will arrive like a bouquet of flowers on Feb. 14 when the singer hosts a special release day event.

Jisoo first teased Amortage earlier this month with a teaser depicting an ECG graphic of a heartbeat. The project will mark her first release since making her solo debut in 2023 with Me, the double-single that included “Flower” and “All Eyes on Me.”

“I’m not sure how much I want to go solo yet,” Jisoo told Rolling Stone in 2022. “The music I listen to, the music I can do, and the music I want to do — what should I choose? I love songs with lots of instruments. I love different bands and rock music. What do people want from me? There’s a chaos of conflicting questions. So I’m still tilting my head in confusion. I’m not sure what will happen with my solo plans this year.”

With Amortage, Jisoo joins her fellow Blackpink members in filling up their individual schedules with new projects. Rosé is currently seated at Number Five on the Billboard Hot 100 with her Bruno Mars-assisted collaboration “APT.,” and made a cameo with Lady Gaga in Mars’ video for “Fat Juicy & Wet.” Meanwhile, Lisa is gearing up for the premiere of her acting debut on The White Lotus Season Three, out Feb. 16, and Jennie will team up with Dominic Fike on her next single “Love Hangover,” out Jan. 31 from her debut studio album Ruby, out March 7.
