Protests against Benjamin Netanyahu’s government erupted in Jerusalem as the prime minister’s cabinet has faced widespread criticism over Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel. Clashes also occurred in the Mea Shearim neighborhood over ultra-Orthodox Jews being allowed exemption from military service.
