Royal fans are often eager to discover the beauty products Kate Middleton is said to swear by – and luxury skincare brand Rodial regularly tops that list. The Princess of Wales has long been rumoured to be a fan of the brand’s cult Bee Venom range, and now one of its hero products has been heavily discounted.

Rodial’s Bee Venom Super Serum has been reduced from £195 to £95, saving shoppers a sizeable £100. While it’s not the exact product Kate is reported to adore (she’s previously been linked to the Bee Venom and Placenta 24-Carat Gold Crème), the deal still offers a rare opportunity to try one of the brand’s most talked-about formulations for less.

The Super Serum is packed with skin-loving ingredients designed to firm, smooth and plump the complexion. It contains plant stem cells to help improve skin elasticity, alongside melittin peptides derived from bee venom, which help smooth and firm the skin’s appearance.

Bio-marine collagen is also included to help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. According to clinical trials conducted on 23 testers, smoother-looking skin was achieved in 28 days, with improvements in skin elasticity seen after 20 days.

Besides Rodial, Kate is said to love Clarins Lip Perfector (£19, Boots), which she was spotted applying at a Wimbledon match in 2019. The creamy formula contains wild mango butter and shea butter to help deliver a hydrated pout.

The princess is also rumoured to useLaura Mercier’s Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser (£20, Look Fantastic). The SPF30-infused cream works hard to provide buildable coverage, shine-control and up to 16-hour hydration.

As well as Kate, the Bee Venom Super Serum has had some great reviews from Rodial shoppers. This person shared: “The Bee Venom Serum hydrates my skin, making it dewy with a glow. I couple this with the moisturiser and wow!”

Meanwhile, a second chimed in: “I love this product. I believe I can see that it has tightened up my face and definitely helps with fine lines.” And another said: “It makes my skin feel like silk and has made a great improvement. I highly recommend it.”

However, it isn’t all good news. One user had a bad reaction to the serum, stating it made her break out. In response, Rodial offered complimentary beauty advice and a 15% discount on their next order.

On a brighter note, this Bee Venom Super Serum fan piped up: “I have noticed a real difference in fine lines. A lovely product to use. Not greasy and soaks into skin.”
