T-Mobile’s new plans include swappable subscription perks
T-Mobile is launching new “T-Mix” plans that bundle wireless service with subscriptions to services like Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube Premium, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, device promotions, and more, as reported earlier by Fierce Network. The Standard plan starts at $55 / month (with autopay) for one line and one “Pick,” which you can change up to four times during the year without changing the cost of your plan.
The Standard also offers up to 50GB of “premium” data, video streaming in 480p, unlimited 3G hotspot connectivity, and unlimited 2G in Canada and Mexico. Meanwhile, the mid-tier More plan starts at $75 / month for one line, two Picks per line, and unlimited data. It also adds up to 4K UHD video streaming, up to 60GB of high-speed hotspot data, and up to 15GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico.
The highest-tier Loaded plan, which starts at $95 / month for one line, bumps things up a little more, offering access to up to three Picks per line for the first three lines (T-Mobile caps this plan at 11 perks in total). The Loaded plan also comes with the same up to 4K UHD video streaming benefit, as well as up to 250GB of high-speed hotspot data and up to 30GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico.
The types of perks you can add vary depending on how many your plan supports:
T-Mobile says that you can change up your perks every 90 days, according to Fierce Network. However, T-Mobile notes that how often you can change your perks depends on the benefit that you choose. “Some benefits let you switch any time, others hold your Picks for a quarter or longer,” T-Mobile says, adding that some services will charge if you switch them outside the change window. T-Mobile also offers an annual selection period where you can reset all of your perks.
