The video was captured behind the scenes and onstage as Mars made a surprise appearance during Karol G’s recent L.A. concert for the live debut of their collaboration

The cameras were rolling for hours before Bruno Mars made his surprise appearance during Karol G‘s second sold out night at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. Mars, in a detour from his own stadium tour, joined for the live debut of their collaboration, “Still.” Footage from the performance and their rehearsal time before doors opened to the audience form the basis of the song’s newly released music video.

The video is filmed almost entirely in black and white, with the switch to color coming as they hit the stage later in the night. Before then, monochromatic clips show Karol and Mars racing around on go-karts, trading lyrics back and forth in the empty lower bowl seating area, and crooning over a guitar backstage. It’s a perfect fit for “Still,” which similarly began on the road.

“Honestly, having a song with Bruno is something I still can’t believe. In fact, yesterday we were here in Las Vegas, and we were hanging out because we were making some content we’re going to be sharing for the song, and I have to be honest, it feels super surreal,” Karol recently told Rolling Stone. “I traveled to where he was to record because he was on tour, and it was like a whirlwind trip I had to make in one go so I could finish the song quickly and have it ready.”

She added, “I feel like what happened with this song is that I really fell in love with it, and I really wanted to include a song in English on my album where I was speaking to a specific audience. If I had the opportunity to connect differently, like, now that we’re going to Coachella and you start to see that there’s a new audience and might not speak Spanish at all.”

Karol’s Viajando Por El Mundo TropiTour 2026 continues this week with stops in San Antonio and El Paso, followed by Boston, New York, Atlanta, and Houston. Mars’ tour in support of his new album The Romantic picks back up in Boston this weekend.
