Geese’s Cameron Winter Preps ‘Live at Carnegie Hall’ Album
Practice, Practice, Practice
The Geese frontman became one of the youngest artists to headline the storied venue, playing songs off his celebrated debut Heavy Metal, as well as three unreleased compositions
Geese frontman Cameron Winter is set to release his first live solo album, Live at Carnegie Hall, this fall.
Out Oct. 9, the record captures Winter’s performance at the famed New York City venue last December. The sold-out show made Winter one of the youngest artists to headline Carnegie Hall, and capped off a massive year behind his debut solo album, Heavy Metal, as well as Geese’s Getting Killed.
The 11-track Live at Carnegie Hall primarily features material from Heavy Metal, including standouts like “$0,” “The Rolling Stones,” “Cancer of the Skull,” and “Love Takes Miles.” It also includes performances of three previously unreleased songs: “It All Fell in the River,” “Emperor XIII In Shades,” and “If You Turn Back Now.”
Live at Carnegie Hall is available to pre-order and will be released digitally, as well as on CD and vinyl. The vinyl edition comes with some special gatefold artwork that appears to show Winter smooching Carnegie Hall’s namesake and builder, Andrew Carnegie.

While news of the live album will certainly thrill Winter’s fans, there’s still no word yet on the likely concert film that was also shot during Carnegie Hall gig. Contemporaneous reports noted that Oscar-winning director Paul Thomas Anderson was heading up a film crew that night, with fellow filmmaker (and occasional actor) Benny Safdie also helping out behind the camera.
Winter played just a handful of solo gigs last year in support of Heavy Metal, which earned rave reviews from critics and featured prominently on many year-end lists (including Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Albums of 2025). Last year, and throughout 2026, he’s primarily been busy with Geese as they’ve supported their equally acclaimed third album, Getting Killed. The band is currently on tour in Europe, but they’ll kick off another North American run in September, with dates scheduled through November.
