Die Spitz, Snooper to Play Rolling Stone Rock Tour July 16 in Denver
Die Spitz are in the middle of a huge year: It seems like everyone who sees this Austin, Texas, punk band play one of their trademark high-energy shows recognizes they’ve got something special. That includes us here at Rolling Stone, who included them in this year’s Future of Music lineup — and we’re excited to keep the party going on July 16, when Die Spitz will headline the San Diego House of Blues as part of the Rolling Stone Rock Tour, presented by Miller High Life. Another of the country’s best rising punk acts, Nashville’s own Snooper, will open the show. Pre-sale tickets will be available at 10 a.m. PT on June 3, with the public on-sale following at 10 a.m. P.T. on June 4.
This year’s Rolling Stone Rock Tour kicked off May 20 with a very special Bleachers show in New Orleans ahead of the release of that band’s new album, Everyone for Ten Minutes. Up next are Geese, who will play Denver’s Summit Music Hall on June 25. Later in the year, we’ll bring you great shows on Sept. 24 at Terminal 5 in New York, Oct. 15 at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and Nov. 2 at the Truth in Nashville. Full details for all those shows will be revealed soon.
Die Spitz formed in 2022, when three of the four members were attending the same high school in Austin. “We were super into rock bands, we smoked a bunch of weed, and liked to party,” guitarist Eleanor Livingston told RS. “So we were like, ‘We should start a band.’”

That spirit of hell-raising rock & roll fun has won them lots of fans, including Jack White’s Third Man Records (which released their 2025 full-length debut, Something to Consume) and Foo Fighters (who invited them to open their biggest show ever in Liverpool later this month). The shows just keep getting bigger, and Die Spitz are loving it. “The beauty of playing for so many people is an energy that not many people experience,” Livingston added, “especially when they know your lyrics and whatnot. It’s like you climbed to the top of a mountain. It’s freakin’ better than sex. It’s a crazy feeling.”
Our Rock Tour launched in 2025 with sold-out shows by Mk.gee in Denver, the Beaches in Chicago, Wet Leg in Nashville, and MJ Lenderman in New York. We’ve brought some of the most exciting bands in rock to you, two years in a row — don’t miss your chance if the tour is coming through your town!
The Rolling Stone Rock Tour is presented by Miller High Life, the popular beer brand that’s become an American institution since its introduction more than a century ago, and in partnership with Sonesta International Hotels. Sonesta Travel Pass members can unlock exclusive perks at sonestaevents.com/rock-tour while supplies last.
