Enola Holmes 3 trailer – Henry Cavill’s Sherlock Holmes has been kidnapped | Films | Entertainment

Four years on from the second film and Enola Holmes 3 is almost upon us. The latest in the Netflix mystery franchise once again stars Millie Bobby Brown in the titular role, with Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes and Helena Bonham Carter as their mother.

Also returning is Louis Partridge as Lord Tewkesbury, who proposes to Enola in the first teaser trailer launched today. But once again, the game is afoot, as Himesh Patel’s Dr Watson informs Enola that Sherlock has been kidnapped.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “Tis I do?! The critically-acclaimed Enola Holmes franchise has returned, taking Enola far from London, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before. Directed by Philip Barantini (the Emmy Award-winning director of ‘Adolescence’), the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Louis Partridge, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter.”

Enola Holmes 3 is streaming on Netflix from July 1.
