‘Divine’ Calvin Klein perfume deal drops to less than £18
A luxury Calvin Klein perfume has seen a dramatic price slash on Amazon, with a deal cutting a 100ml bottle of ‘Obsession’ down to £18.75. The fragrance, widely praised for smelling ‘divine’ and its impressive longevity, ordinarily retails at £88 at Boots (currently on sale for £44), making this Amazon offer an absolute steal.
Rich and seductive, Calvin Klein Obsession features notes of mandarin, vanilla, and exotic spices, beautifully complemented by amber, musk, and sandalwood for a deeply alluring finish. It has proved enormously popular, more than 20,000 reviews on Amazon, with a remarkable 90% awarding it either four or five stars.
Calvin Klein’s Obsession has earned widespread acclaim not only for its distinctive scent, which draws countless compliments, but also for its exceptional staying power. A few spritzes in the morning is all that’s needed for the fragrance to last throughout the entire day, according to shoppers.
One customer couldn’t quite believe the deal, writing: “I really like this perfume, it’s great value for money in my opinion as a decent sized bottle like this one normally costs close to a hundred pounds.”
Another shopper echoed the sentiment, commenting: “Gorgeous fragrance. Obsession is an old school classic and worth every penny and more. It’s a very rare smelling fragrance. Mandarin, bergamot, jasmine and spices. Great longevity. If you apply in the morning after a bath or shower you will still smell this the next morning.”
For an even more budget-friendly option, M&S’s Fresh Mandarin Eau de Toilette is well worth considering. It’s a lighter scent than Calvin Klein’s offering and may not last quite as long, but at £12 for 100ml it’s good value for money, reports the Daily Record.
For those who prefer amber notes, Armani Stronger With You could be just the ticket. A 100ml bottle ordinarily retails at £110, yet Debenhams has dropped the price to £78.38.
Calvin Klein’s Obsession comes in a striking amber bottle that is understated yet refined. Its sleek, compact design makes it an ideal travel companion, taking up minimal space in luggage.
Sespite an abundance of glowing reviews, it doesn’t suit every palate. One reviewer noted ‘to be honest, it’s OK, but maybe just doesn’t really suit my skin type’, while another wrote: “I like the scent but sometimes I feel like it’s really like an aftershave fragrance I wouldn’t buy it again but it was worth a try.”
Nevertheless, the vast majority of customers are delighted with their purchase. One five-star review enthuses: “Calvin Klein Obsession for Women is one of those perfumes that makes an impression without trying too hard. I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks, and every time I put it on, I get compliments.
“The scent opens with a warm, spicy hit that is bold but not overwhelming, then settles into a deeper, slightly oriental base that feels rich and luxurious. It’s perfect for evenings out or when you want to feel a little extra confident during the day.”
Another reviewer remarked: “What I love most is the longevity. A couple of sprays in the morning and I can still catch hints of it hours later without needing to reapply. It sits nicely on the skin and clothes, leaving a soft, alluring trail rather than a harsh cloud. The balance of spices, florals, and amber notes is sophisticated, not cloying, and not generic.”
