Post Malone has pushed back the start of his Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 with Jelly Roll in order to finish his new album.

The singer announced the tour change Friday on social media, revealing that the trek’s first six shows have been canceled and the stadium tour will begin six weeks later so Malone can complete his 40-song double LP The Eternal Buzz.

“Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up,” Malone wrote in his Instagram Story, “The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”

Malone continued, “That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planing on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all. That THAT being said, we been making some badass shit for this double album… and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again.”

The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 was set to open May 13 in El Paso, Texas, but that show has been canceled. The other impacted dates include stadium gigs in Waco, Texas, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Birmingham, Alabama, Tampa, Florida, and Oxford, Mississippi.

As of now, Malone and Jelly Roll’s tour is scheduled to kick off June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2, Malone is still scheduled to perform at three festivals, Albuquerque’s Boots in the Park on May 16, Panama City Beach, Florida’s Gulf Coast Jam on May 31, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina’s Carolina Country Music Festival on June 7.

The North American leg of the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 — which Variety reports was experiencing “softer” ticket sales than Part 1 in 2025 — will now run 13 dates, concluding July 28 in Salt Lake City, with Malone festival gigs like Milwaukee’s Summer Fest in the mix. After the North American leg, the tour will head to Asia, with Don Toliver replacing Jelly Roll for that trek.
