I never read books but I read this in one sitting and I’m still thinking about it | Books | Entertainment

I love the thought of reading every evening but the reality is that if a book isn’t gripping me from the first few pages or chapters, I get bored and distracted. Some books have even taken me around three months to finish before because I couldn’t get into them.

The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros is a deeply emotional contemporary romance novel that has touched many readers since its 2019 publication.

The book follows Beckett Gentry, a soldier with a troubled past, and Ella, a single mother raising twin toddlers, who form a connection through letters while Beckett is deployed.

After tragedy strikes and letters stop, Beckett keeps a promise to Ella’s brother and moves to help her in real life.

What starts as support slowly grows into something deeper, more tender, and deeply moving as the story focuses on grief, trust, love and loss.

The novel also builds on themes of resilience, loyalty, family, and how love can carry someone through the hardest moments.

For me, it was one of the most moving, sad, but heartfelt books I’ve ever read. I finished it in one sitting because the emotions and characters were just so gripping.

At times it’s raw and devastating, but it also celebrates love’s ability to heal, and that made the book unforgettable.

As someone who connects deeply with emotional stories, this book has stayed with me since I read it. I’ve also recommended it to several people who have said the same thing.

She’s also best known for her romance series, which starts with Fourth Wing. This book and series gained attention online for being the best romance series.
