The Colombian superstar’s 12th studio album features Bomba Estéreo, Rawayana, Conociendo Rusia, Mon Laferte, and Vivir Quintana

Juanes has returned with his highly anticipated 12th studio album JuanesTeban. The new LP finds the Colombian superstar fusing cumbia with his signature rock sound for a 16-track collection of brightly hued songs that explore the duality of Juanes’ artistry. It marks the first album since the musician’s 2023 Grammy-winning LP Vida Cotidiana.

“I have finally returned to a place of light and joy,” Juanes said in a press release. “I wanted to make the kind of album that would take me back to the land of dancing and cumbia — the feeling of Latin America, the root of folklore.”

“This record is also different from the others because I finally got to explore the many facets of my personality… joyful, enthusiastic, melancholy,” Juanes added.

Co-produced by Nico Cotton and Juanes himself, JuanesTeban features an array of musicians for unique collaborations. Juanes tapped fellow Colombian star Bomba Estéreo and Latin music heavyweight Mon Laferte, along with rising musicians like Venezuelan band Rawayana, Argentinian Conociendo Rusia, and Mexican singer Vivir Quintana. The mix of artists reflects the Colombian superstar’s global sound.

To celebrate the album’s release day, Juanes has also shared a stunning visual for his joint effort with Rawayana “Timelapse De Sol.” In the visualizer, directed by Agustín Puente, the musician travels among Costa Rica’s beautiful landscape.

JuanesTeban also marks the first time that Juanes has shared his visual artistic abilities. The album cover art is a self portrait illustrated by him, as are the accompanying covers of each song featured in the physical releases of the LP.

In February, Juanes announced the Juanes World Tour 2026, where he will perform his hits along with songs off the new album. Juanes will kick things off in September in Orlando, Florida before hitting the road for 28 other cities in the U.S. and wrapping things up at a hometown show in Bogotá, Colombia.
