We played Resident Evil Requiem, ask us anything
One of the first blockbuster games of the year is almost here — and it’s a creepy one. Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th, and it’s the first all-new RE game since Village in 2021. It’s also a fascinating experience, one that combines the guns-blazing action of Resident Evil 4 with the first-person terror that originated with Resident Evil 7. In a lot of ways, it’s the best of both worlds, as our review explains.
And we’re here to talk about it.
My colleague Jay Peters and I have been playing the game ahead of launch and will be answering questions from Verge subscribers right here. So if you’re curious about how the dual characters and perspective switching work, or are wondering if you should play with the lights on (yes, you should), this is the place. And if you’re curious how well the game holds up on the Switch 2, good news, as I’ve been playing through it on Nintendo’s tablet. (You can read more about that right here.) Of course, we won’t be spoiling any major story beats, but most other things are fair game.
So drop all of your burning Umbrella Corporation questions in the comments here, and we’ll be on at 3PM ET to answer what we can.
