Willie Nelson, St. Vincent to Perform

As Willie Nelson likes to say, “You’re either in Luck or you’re out of Luck.” On Thursday, March 19, some fans will most definitely be in Luck when the 14th annual Luck Reunion returns to Nelson’s ranch outside of Austin.

Luck Presents announced the lineup on Wednesday morning. As is tradition, Nelson and the Family Band will headline the daylong festival. Other acts on the bill include St. Vincent, Trampled by Turtles, Booker T. Jones, Lukas Nelson, Ghostland Observatory, Kaitlin Butts, Joshua Ray Walker, and Particle Kid with Daniel Lanois.

Nelson’s Luck Ranch, technically located in Spicewood, Texas, is the site of an Old West movie set built for 1985’s Red Headed Stranger, in which Nelson starred. There’s a saloon, a general store, and a little white church, all of which host various events throughout the Luck Reunion day. At last year’s festival, Arcade Fire gave a surprise performance in the saloon that spilled out into the dusty streets.

The 2026 Reunion features some notable songwriters’ rounds. A BMI-presented lineup includes Julianna Rankin, Leon Majcen, and Emma Ogier, while the Redbird Songwriters Showcase includes James McMurtry, Dallas Burrow, Willis Alan Ramsey, Dale Watson, and Kelly Willis.

Unlike years past, the 2026 Luck Reunion will be held immediately after the annual SXSW festival, which runs March 12 through 18 in Austin.

This year’s lineup beautifully represents that spirit, with legendary artists who’ve been part of our story from the beginning, new voices we’re excited to introduce to our community, and more than a few surprise guests that we can’t wait to reveal.”

Along with the reunion, the Luck Potluck, a food and beverage experience, is set for Tuesday March 17. And the day after Luck, Friday, March 20, artists to be announced will gather at the ranch to celebrate late songwriter Todd Snider.
