45-year-old woman’s ‘deep set wrinkles are gone’ using £21 skincare
Skincare shoppers are blown away by the ‘miracle’ results from using a lesser-known beauty brand, after discovering the range of natural products found at Amazon. Made using 100% natural ingredients with no nasty chemicals, the Illex Wood anti-ageing formulas are hand-crafted in Northamptonshire, offering a clean and simple take on skincare.
The Rose and Frankincense Face Cream and Serum set is one of the most popular duos and for a limited time Amazon shoppers can pick the set up for £21.20 instead of £24.95. At around £10 per item, they are some of the more affordable anti-ageing skincare products on the market, however, users say this doesn’t take away from the impressive results.
One shopper said: “I’ve always used the more expensive products but find this product superior to the more expensive ones on the market.” Another person, aged 45, explained: “I’ve tried many things and products to help then I tried this out as I love the smell of frankincense. As of one use my deep set wrinkles were gone.”
Using carefully selected essential oils of rose, frankincense, geranium and lavender, the spa-scented oil based face cream and serum helps fight signs of skin ageing and nurture dry to combination skin. The formula may not be for everyone as its natural nature makes it more on the greasy side, but the majority of users do not find this to be an issue.
Someone said: “Lovely product would give 10 stars in if I could! My skin feels best using a combination of both the cream and the serum. It smells absolutely divine and leaves my skin feeling very soft in a way that no other expensive cream does. As with other natural products there is residue left after application but if you leave for a while it does eventually absorb. I have only been using it a couple of weeks but am so smitten with this product I am ordering another set whilst it is on offer.”
Another customer simply changed the time of day when they use the product, writing: “Just what I was looking for. I use it mainly as a night cream as it is a bit oily, which is to be expected in a cream using essential natural oils. The fragrance is divine!”
Alternatively, skincare fans might be interested in the brand Neal’s Yard for more natural skincare. The Neal’s Yard Rejuvenating Frankincense Hydrating Cream is £38, designed to moisturise and smooth skin.
Green People is another option – the brand’s Age Defy+ Brightening Moisturiser is £47, targeting age spots and fine lines. The key plant actives are pineapple, beech bud, cucumber and mandarin oil.
Shoppers shouldn’t have to wait long until they notice results when using the Illex Wood products, as commented by a customer that wrote: “I use this twice a day and even after the very first use my skin felt so soft and plump. After a few weeks I really noticed my skin texture had evened out and my complexion looked so much brighter and healthier.”
And, highlighting the skincare duo’s effectiveness, a five star review says: “I actually ran out for a couple of weeks and could genuinely see the difference – my skin looked dull and tired without it. This is definitely going to be a constant repurchase for me. It smells incredible, feels so luxurious on the skin and fits perfectly into my skincare routine.”
Someone else shared: “I am 73 and have had great compliments recently on how well I look all purely down to these products my skin just loves them.”
