Get ‘Adorable’ £24 Sainsbury’s Pancake Day pyjamas under £9
I love themed pyjamas as much as the next person, but it can often feel like a shame to only wear them once a year and then pack them away until next time. With Pancake Day coming up, I’ve spotted a Tu set from Sainsbury’s that’s on theme, but versatile enough to wear again and again. The best part is, there’s a way to get it for just over £8 by using a clever deal.
The Striped Pancake Print Traditional Pyjamas are perfect for Pancake Day, but the print is versatile enough to wear all year long. They’re sold for £24 at Sainsbury’s, but shoppers can get the set for much cheaper by joining TopCashback.
The money-saving website is offering new members and all Tu customers a free £15 sign-up bonus, plus cashback on any purchase of £15 or more. This would drop the price of the pyjama set to just £8.37 after cashback, nearly a third of the original price. All shoppers need to do to unlock the reduced price is to make their purchase through this unique link.
The set is made up of a long-sleeved button-up top and matching trousers, with a print that puts a twist on the traditional striped pyjama. They have a breakfast theme, and are adorned with little hearts, stacks of heart-shaped pancakes, berries, and other breakfast staples against a cream background with blue and pink stripes.
These pyjamas are perfect for Pancake Day, which falls on February 17, but could also be a lovely way to subtly channel the Valentine’s vibes while serving a romantic breakfast.
They’re also made from 100% cotton poplin, which keeps them cool enough to wear throughout spring, too. At the time of writing, the pyjamas are available in sizes eight to 24, but are out of stock in size six. If you like to match, they also come in men’s and kids sizes.
Sainsbury’s customers who bought the set are loving their new sleepwear, with one saying the pyjamas are “comfy and warm”. Another wrote: “Just fabulous. Absolutely love the fit and pattern!”
On TikTok, creator @hope.prit said she “can’t get enough of that pancake set!” while reviewing the newest Tu pyjamas. In the comments, users called the pyjamas “adorable” and “cute”, while another said: “That’s making me feel cosy comfy vibes. Sainsbury’s quality is always spot on with nightwear.”
Creator @emmajenk1ns compared the pyjamas to similar designs from the brand Djerf Avenue, where just a pyjama top retails for £67.
“It’s literally Djerf Avenue and brunch combined into one”, she said. “I think this is my favourite”, she said, holding up the striped set. She added: “There’s pancakes on there, blueberries…”
“How fun are these for spring?” said another creator, @courtneyedwards__. Mentioning the pyjamas also come in kids’ sizes, she said they make “the cutest little duo ever”.
